Welcome to Stitch Salon, your creative home for beginner sewing classes in Los Angeles.
Located in the heart of Mid-City LA - next to Culver City and West Adams, we bridge the gap between "I’ve never touched a machine" and "I made this myself."
Whether you’re looking for adult sewing lessons to start a new hobby or fashion design classes in LA to kickstart a career, our studio is equipped to help you level up. We focus on hands-on learning, machine basics, creative mending, and creating with confidence.
From Sewing Machine 101 to getting help with mastering your first invisible zipper and understanding pattern making, our instructors bring industry expertise directly to your sewing table. The Studio
Founded and run by textile artist Liberty Worth, Stitch Salon is an incubator space for creative people who want to use sewing as an artistic outlet - whether they are experienced or at the beginning of a textile journey.
Liberty is a big believer in recycling and repurposed textiles and Stitch Salon offers our students the opportunity to freely use fabrics that Liberty has collected from the interior design, fashion and quilting industries that would have been headed to landfill.
Learning How to Sew
Textile artist and teacher, Liberty Worth, has taught hundreds of people how to sew. She believes it empowers people to feel creative and inspired and she is available to teach both group and private lessons.
We teach group lessons for all ages and are able to set up lessons for children as well.
