Teacher - Elle Walters
Elle Walters is a Filipino American designer and founder of ELLERALI, an upcycled fashion brand rooted in sustainability, creativity, and community. With a background in marine biology, she blends science and style to teach sewing and upcycling as tools for self expression, environmental impact, and confidence. Through her classes, Elle empowers students of all levels to transform existing garments into something uniquely their own while building practical skills and creative courage.
Teacher - Theresa Wollenstein
Private lessons teacher Theresa Wollenstein has been sewing for most of her life, starting with designing and hand sewing items for her dolls and dollhouse. Later, she discovered Renaissance Faires and historical re-enactment, and began sewing garments from history based on portraits and extant items. These days she’s mostly making cosplay outfits for her tweens and altering thrift store finds for customized fits. Theresa is also the executive director of the non-profit Griffin Dyeworks, which promotes historical textile arts, such as hand spinning, weaving, and natural dyeing.
